When tasked with differentiating Someslight Clothing in the saturated anime-inspired fashion market, I discovered a unique challenge: the brand was facing numerous imitators copying their designs without proper branding. Through market research, I found competitors were using identical product images on social media, leading to customer confusion and brand dilution.
My solution centered on strengthening brand recognition through clever wordplay, creating a memorable slogan that incorporated the brand name itself by replacing "quite" with "slight" to emphasize uniqueness. This strategy was specifically designed for social media advertising platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where most brand confusion occurred. By pairing the new slogan with Someslight's original designs in targeted ads, we created a distinct brand voice that not only sets them apart from imitators but also helps potential customers identify authentic Someslight products in their social media feeds.
